FERN CONSOLE
Console tables are so useful. They can be tucked into spaces where wider pieces just wouldn't fit. This one lives at the top of a staircase, a perfect landing spot for things being carted up and down. The client found it useful but lifeless so commissioned the decorative design to work with her plants.
This design was worked up from a white base using a stencil. The colours were added with a small paintbrush and then finally lightly sanded back to give a more muted finish. Helen managed to remove the worst of the water marks and then finished it with a matt varnish to prevent new stains.
