To achieve the brass paint effects on the tops of the legs we used a black/brown base coat and then mixed a brass colour to match the ironmongery. The other metal details were silver, which looked a bit odd, so Helen sprayed them with a tough brass radiator paint.

The client supplied the wall paper for the interior and door panels which were then finished in multiple coats of matte polyurethane varnish for durability.
